The Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) is located within the Saratoga State Park. SPAC is the July home of the New York City Ballet, and the August home of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Saratoga also boasts the Saratoga Horse Racing Track- open daily (except Tuesday) during the month of August with 9 races daily. The Saratoga State Park, only a short drive to the north, provides a wide variety of interesting things to see and do. This 2,000-acre park has mineral water springs and baths, a spouting Geyser, the Spa Summer Theater, both 18-hole and par-29 golf courses, picnic facilities and 2 swimming pool complexes.
